1.2.5 Hotfix — Stability & Performance

Hotfix Banner

The 1.2.5 Hotfix is all about ensuring a smoother, faster, and more reliable experience for every manager. While this update doesn’t introduce new features, it makes important strides in optimization, especially for users on mid- and low-spec Android devices.

Engine Stability Improvements

We’ve reworked parts of the match engine to prevent rare but frustrating crashes during critical moments — including during substitutions, replays, and tactical adjustments. These issues are now resolved to ensure uninterrupted gameplay.

Faster Load Times

Loading screens — from game startup to match entry — have been noticeably reduced. On average, users will now experience up to 30% shorter load durations, especially on devices with limited RAM or slower storage.

Improved Android Optimization

Older Android devices were occasionally affected by dropped frames, UI lag, or unexpected shutdowns. This update specifically addresses those issues, improving memory handling and reducing processor spikes during peak in-game moments.

UI Responsiveness

Menu transitions and in-match interfaces now respond more fluidly to taps and swipes. Navigating between screens — like Transfers, Tactics, and Squad — feels smoother and more intuitive.

"This patch may be quiet on features, but it's loud on impact. Stability is the foundation for everything we build." — GoalForge Engineering Team
